Does straightening shampoo work?

my hair is naturally wavy and i used to use the pantene shampoo for straight hair..and it would make it noticably straighter but not stick straight. now i use the herbal essences dangerously wavy/curly...and i love it! i rather have wavy hair then straight! i say buy one bottle and try it out!
