Guiding Light, Sandy Foster Q, really need help, anyone?

I live in the UK and the eps are from 2005 so we're behind. Sandy Foster has just gotten engaged to Tammy Winslow. What i want to know is what is his realy story? As Ava Peralta is still married to him only she knows him as Xander as he's not really Sandy Foster and does he marry Tammy??? I also heard he dies hoe does he die? I quite like him, he's rather cute, but a great character, i love the mystery that surronds him!!! Tell me anything you remember as i love being spoiled!!! Thanks, Lisa Michelle x x lol x x
