HELP!! my dog has a torn ACL :(?

he is 10 years old and in very good shape, except for his back right leg. i always used to run around with him but i cant anymore. he wont be cured because the re cooperation of the procedure is that he has to pretty much stay completely still for 6 weeks, and he cant do that because he is such a damn rascal :) SO ANYWAY, lol i need some input on how i should spend time with him now. what would you do??
